I'm not sure how others feel about small drawings, but I think sometimes the smaller the drawing, the more effort that I put into all the little details. Take this drawing for example. It only measures 4"x4", but it took me several days and probably at least 6 hours of good solid work to get all the details to look the way that I wanted them to.
I love this little bee though - I gifted him to a wonderful person who keeps bees and has let me have some of their fantastic honey in the past. It was a gift of gratitude, like much of the art that I create for others. I may draw some other variations of this little guy in the future. :)
